What personal information we collect when you use this website or order from us, why we use it, who we share it with, and your choices.

What we collect
- When you check out
- Your name, mobile number, email address (optional), emirate, city or area, delivery address, delivery notes, preferred payment method, the products in your order and an order reference.
- When you send a wholesale enquiry
- Business name and type, contact name, mobile, email, emirate, the products and quantities you list, and your message.
- When you message us
- Your WhatsApp name and number and the content of your messages. The same applies to phone calls and emails.
- Automatically
- Our hosting provider records standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested and time) for security and troubleshooting. To limit spam, our forms keep a short-lived record derived from your IP address in a form that cannot be read back.
We do not collect card details. We do not use advertising or analytics trackers on this website.
Why we use it
- To handle your order: confirming availability, arranging delivery and payment, issuing invoices and dealing with returns. We need this information to take and fulfil your order.
- To answer enquiries: preparing quotations and replying to questions you send us.
- To meet legal obligations: keeping commercial and accounting records required by UAE law.
- To keep the website secure: preventing spam and misuse.
We only send marketing messages if you have agreed to receive them, and you can opt out at any time. We never sell your personal data.
WhatsApp ordering
When you choose “Send order via WhatsApp”, your order details are placed into a WhatsApp message on your own device. They are transmitted to us only when you press Send. WhatsApp is operated by WhatsApp LLC, part of Meta Platforms, and processes your message under its own terms and privacy policy. We receive the message on our WhatsApp Business account.
On the live website, a copy of the order you prepared (with its reference) is also saved on our server when you open WhatsApp from checkout. This lets us match your message to your order and help you if WhatsApp does not open. If you do not send the order, the copy is deleted after 90 days.
The question assistant
The “Ask about our oils” assistant currently answers from a fixed set of approved information held in your browser. Your questions are not sent to us or to any third party. If we connect an AI service in future, we will update this section to name the provider before doing so.
Service providers
- Website hosting: Hostinger, which stores this website, server logs and the records described above.
- Messaging: WhatsApp (Meta Platforms) for orders and customer service.
- Email: the provider that hosts our business mailbox, gm@nomas-co.com.
- Payments: the payment provider named on any payment link we send you. They process your payment details directly under their own privacy policy.
- Delivery: the delivery company or driver who delivers your order receives your name, mobile number and address.
Some of these providers process data outside the UAE. We share only what each one needs to do its job.
Cookies and browser storage
This website does not use advertising or tracking cookies. Your cart and the products you choose to compare are saved in your own browser's local storage, so they are still there when you return. You can clear them at any time by emptying your cart or clearing your browser's site data. Staff who sign in to manage the website use a strictly necessary session cookie.
How long we keep it
- Confirmed orders and invoices: for as long as UAE law requires us to keep commercial and tax records.
- Prepared orders that were never sent or confirmed: 90 days.
- Wholesale enquiries that don't lead to business: 24 months.
- Anti-spam records: up to 24 hours.
Your rights
Subject to UAE law, including Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on the Protection of Personal Data, you can ask us to:
- give you a copy of the personal data we hold about you
- correct inaccurate data
- delete data we no longer need
- restrict or object to certain uses, including marketing
- provide your data in a portable format where applicable
Send your request on WhatsApp or by email. We may need to confirm your identity and will reply within 30 days.
Security
The website is served over HTTPS. Order and enquiry records are stored outside the public web folder, with access limited to authorised staff.
